Cook the countryside, by hand.
An intimate, hands-on Moroccan cooking experience in the calm of the countryside, guided by local women, from the garden to the table.
No fixed menus printed on a wall. We cook what the garden gives that week, the way it’s cooked at home, flour on your hands, charcoal in the air, and time to get it right.
From garden to table.
Pick & gather
Walk the garden with your cook and collect the herbs and vegetables you’ll use.
Hands in the dough
Knead and shape bread, then bake it in the traditional wood-fired oven.
Build the tagine
Layer, season and slow-cook a tagine over coals while the tea is poured.
Share the table
Sit down together in the shade and eat the whole meal you’ve made.
A moment of life, sharedThe soul of Moroccan home cooking.
Guided by local women, you’ll prepare a spread of traditional dishes, delicate tagines (meat or chicken), freshly baked bread, couscous and the celebrated pastilla, all from ingredients gathered in the garden that morning.
It’s far more than a cooking lesson. A private guide gently translates, so real conversation can unfold, and you’ll pick up a few words of Arabic along the way. Unhurried and sincere, this isn’t a demonstration, it’s a moment of life, shared.
