About Tidighin

More than a place, a way of life.

Tidighin is a family-run farm, brought to life by local women from the surrounding villages. Each experience is led by one or more of them, sharing the traditional Moroccan cooking that has been passed down through generations.

It’s also a quiet story of women’s empowerment: each visit, a different woman from the village takes her turn, a simple, respectful way to support the community. Nothing here is staged. You’re welcomed into a real Moroccan home, learning by doing, making, tasting, sometimes getting it wrong, and trying again.

The farm’s fields and animals
From garden to table

What you cook is what the land gives.

Tidighin is rooted in its soil, simple, honest, and deeply connected to nature. Most of what reaches the table grew within sight of it.

  • Over 200 olive trees, and pure olive oil pressed here on the farm
  • Eggs from free-range chickens, and milk from the sheep
  • Seasonal vegetables, herbs and tea plants, picked daily for the kitchen
  • Birds and farm life all around you
A different kind of day out

A pocket of countryside, just beyond the city.

Leave the energy of Marrakech behind, and within thirty minutes the landscape opens into fields, olive groves and quiet skies. Tidighin sits here, a place shaped by the family and neighbours who have always cared for this land.

Everything is hands-on and unhurried: cooking with fresh ingredients, walking through the countryside, and gathering around a shared table in the shade. You are not a spectator here. You are a guest, and for a day, part of the place.

Why Tidighin

Rooted in people, grown in season.

i.

Led by local women

Every class and experience is hosted by women from the villages nearby, their recipes, their stories, their pace.

ii.

Grown here, eaten here

Vegetables, herbs, olives and eggs come from a few steps away. What’s ripe that week is what you’ll taste.

iii.

Slow & unhurried

Small groups and time to linger. We’d rather you remember an afternoon than tick off an attraction.

Welcomed by the family

“We don’t put on a show. We open the gate, light the oven, and cook the way we cook at home, you’re simply at the table with us.
